I hope you all had an excellent holiday season, and are rested and ready for the year ahead!
Looking back over past blog entries, I realised that each year seems to have a theme of sorts, which loosely ties together all (or most) of the posts for that year. To that end, I thought it would be a useful exercise to outline the – intended! – themes for 2016.

Travels
Why this area? – I’ve been fortunate to have done some travelling over the past few years (not as much as many, I’m sure!) but nevertheless each trip has taught me something along the way. This year I plan on sharing a few of those things on the blog.
Food and film reviews
Why this area? – Put simply, I like writing them and people seem to like reading them, so everyone wins!
Human resources and change management
Why this area? – I’ve been studying human resource management (HRM) for around two years now, and have found it fascinating – in particular the area of change management. I think there is a wealth of information that almost anyone – not just HR students – will find useful. For that reason, I’ll be adding the theme of HRM to some of my posts this year.
